Summary
The Domain of Athens was first set up in 1996 by a Coterie called the Founding Circle, as the staging ground for the retaking of Atlanta by order of the Ventrue & Gangrel Justicars. The first domain was betrayed by one of it's own and it's enemies were able to rip it apart while it's citizens fought amongst themselves. Years later, the domain was reformed with the backing of several elders within the Camarilla.
Sabbat attacked Athens in June 2012. All Camarilla citizens were killed or have gone missing and presumed dead. The Anarchs took advantage of the situation and have moved in, claiming the city as their own.
