OWbN Middle Georgia Setting

• Note that "Middle Georgia" is a term used for this area in real life; it was not invented for game purposes.
• The Harriet Tubman museum was destroyed in July 2008. It has been rebuilt and now has a memorial sculpture with a small garden.
• OWbN Macon is larger than its real world counterpart.
• The IC city has a considerably more active nightlife than in real world Macon.
• The Georgia Music Hall of Fame is still open.
• Middle Georgia, and Macon in particular, has a very active street theater community.

City Rumors

• Outside the Primogen Council, every other officer has a lower Humanity than the Scourge.
• A Lovecraftian squid monster lives in Lake Sinclair, just outside of Milledgeville
  • The Domain has adopted it as their official mascot
• Catholic Churches in Milledgeville are very dangerous places
• The Shadowlands of Macon are much more hostile than in other cities
  • All the wraiths have been destroyed or driven into hiding by entities dubbed "harvesters" by skin-land mediums
  • Using Necromancy in Macon is quite dangerous
• Ventrue who enter Middle Georgia are driven insane
• There are more magical trees in and around Macon than mundane ones
  • A former Ventrue resident of Macon left the city, not because of her conflicts with some Toreador, but due to the "magical murder tree" that spoke to her in her dreams. She didn't like it.
• An Independent Elder lives in Dublin, GA and has conditioned everyone in the city to be happy
• The Sabbat have taken over Warner Robbins, to the south of Macon

• No one wants to have a position in the Court of Middle Georgia. There are several rumors as to why...
  • Middle Georgia is a turbulent place, and many Kindred simply don't want the responsibility
  • Let's just say "personality conflicts", and leave it at that.
  • The Domain happens to have a Kindred population that is more focused on personal projects than political ambition.
