Character Information

Known History

Not much is known about Lena! before she came to Iowa in 2008, this is most likely due to her former association with the Anarch movement. What is known is that she came into Iowa City like a whirl wind and immediately started to crawl into the hearts of many people. With her loud, outspoken words, she attempted to change that which she had seen as corrupt.

In December of '08 Lena expressed the desire to join the Camarilla due to the safety it provided, one month later she was adopted at the Midwinter Gathering in Milwaukee by Zio! where he took her under his accounting with the aid of Chester Black. It was clear to many that she excelled in her studies of the Camarilla and it wasn't long before she was granted her Acknowledgment by Prince John Ragner of Iowa City. However, the Acknowledgment didn't last long. When visiting the domain of the Twin Cities, Lena! witnessed her first praxis when Chester Black, her mentor and friend, took control over the domain. Upon returning back home to Iowa City, Lena! was told by Prince John Ragner to stop saying the phrase "Prince Chester Black" because it offended him and Sara Durward when the Prince publicly berated her for this, she publicly fought back. For her blatant breach of the Tradition of Domain, John Ragner stripped Lena!'s acknowledgment. She was summoned to the Twin Cities domain during this and placed under Chester Black's accounting.

Not much is known about what happened when Lena! was under Chester's accounting and she doesn't talk about it too much other than saying it was awful. She cropped up from time to time in his Domain to visit with people, but mostly remained a silent figure in the background, learning the Camarilla's laws and histories.

Six months later, in September of '09, Team Fail which consisted of Zio!, Daniel "Mac" McDonald, Daniel Branson, and Noctis arrived in the Twin Cities and met up with Ted Freeman and Fiona "Fifi!" LeStrange to demand that Chester release Lena! from the accounting and grant her her Acknowledgment. During that same night, members of the Rebellion were attacking the domain and due to poor leadership and planning, Lena! was abandoned to the enemy along with Ted Freeman who sacrificed his life so that Lena! could escape. The last words he gave to Lena! were, "They (Team Fail) came here for you, not for me.", these words stay with Lena! even today.

When the sad group marched its way back onto the Elysium, Chester Black finally awarded Lena! her Acknowledgment, though it was not a joyous occasion due to the scandalous behavior Chester Black displayed on the battle field against the Sabbat, having abandoned Lena! and Ted to their potential deaths at the hands of an army of the Sabbat. While they achieved their goal of having Lena! released, the night's events were treated as a loss for the team, due to Ted Freeman's demise.

Upon arriving in Iowa, Lena! decided to claim residency in Cedar Falls, serving under the then sheriff, Daniel Branson, as one of his deputies. Times were the happiest for Lena! during the next few months, when she started dating Daniel and traveling to the neighboring domains of Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, and after her months of accounting, was actually greeted with open arms by several kindred, including John Ragner who told her that she was punished enough by Chester Black for her mistakes that he felt punishing her further was unnecessary.
