Known History

Not much is known about Alec. He was in the Griffin domain in its earliest nights, but disappeared soon after. He has since been seen in Savannah, Athens, and Atlanta. He generally keeps a low profile, but excuses himself from conversations that turn rude or weird.

Topics of conversation that interest Alec include oddly specific stories of past business dealings (as specific as they can be when all parties are referred to with pronouns), discussion of the (legal) global arms trade, and information as a weapon. He presents himself as a strict rationalist, with the survival of the Kindred race as his first and guiding principle. In several public conversations/debates, Alec has spoken at length about the problems of limited resources and of marshaling them towards ends that will get the most return for one's investment, even as he plays down his stake in financial matters and markets. Instead, he speaks of it "from a security perspective," gladly explaining his field to those who listen.

Alec is a strong advocate of prestation and the use of boons to settle debts in Camarilla society. He has spoken at gathers in Macon, Athens, and Atlanta about what he sees as pillars of the Camarilla, coming down harshly on those he believes to be weakening the boon economy. Alec has taken his points national, writing on the necessity of Kindred getting paid to fight off a growing movement of citizens volunteering services "for the good of the domain."

Most recently, Alec got himself into trouble by publicly stripping three of his fellow Ventrue (a Keeper, a Prince, and a Sovereign Prince) over their allowance of a self-described "mummy" to exist in Atlanta and Griffin as a "ghoul." He lost his primogen seat, which he'd held for all of 2 months, and who knows what kinds of issues may yet be brewing among his fellow Kings for breaking ranks? What is known is that Alec has not been seen in Atlanta since January, although he keeps in touch with a variety of correspondents and has been known to post on the Camarilla forum.
