In June 2021, Prince Moira O'Riley suddenly and very publicly removed him from the position of Sheriff and made him the Hound of her Scourge. Shortly after Jenny Talia took praxis and asked him to step back into the role of Sheriff, which he declined.
After Jenny Talia’s death, he led the efforts to track and destroy t Bygone, the Last Son of the Hind, who killed her.
