-Tori Parris was born on June 23, 1987, in Rapid City South Dakota to a single mother, Helena Parris, who had recently moved to the United States from her home country of Greece. The product of an arranged marriage, Tori never met her birth father, but her mother soon remarried to Elliot Davis, a member of the Rapid City Police Department. Helena and Elliot had a second child, William, with whom Tori formed a very close bond despite only being half siblings. Tori was only 2 when William was born, so the difference in fathers barely registered to her in any practical sense.

Tori spiraled and fell into the grips of alcoholism and drug addiction for several years, but eventually an event forced her to snap out of the self-destructive path and cause Tori to put her life back together. After extensive hard work and a summer rehab program, she managed to eventually land a full scholarship in a prestigious Law School, eventually graduating summa cum laude. Before long she passed the bar, and established herself with a career as a criminal prosecution attorney. She established herself as a brilliant young legal mind - dedicated to the hard work behind the scenes, charismatic and passionate in the courtroom, and single-mindedly dedicated to justice and upholding law and order.
