There he rose in the ranks quickly as he was extremely adept in the martial arts as well as the use of firearms and combat knives. 
It is known that he had training from his sire, Obadiah, as well as from his clan's warriors somewhere in the Middle East always being a defender 
both of his people of mortal blood, the Jews, and those of his immortal blood. 
He is a master of Krav Maga which was developed by the Israel army. It's stength lies in its ability to crush bone, split flesh and tear muscle.
