A former Toreador ghoul, Schuyler was Embraced by a member of Clan Gangrel while in Germany traveling for inspiration for his last mortal work. Having spent several years in Europe, he returned to the United States for a change of pace and to reconnect with some old friends and allies.

Schuyler tends to the education of a young Gangrel by the name of June, found lost in the Domain of New Haven with no knowledge of her Sire.
