Raveg is caucasian, 1.80m tall man, with an athletic appearance. He always wears a burgundy leather jacket over a black t-shirt, with dark jeans and black boots. He wears two black leather cords with pendants made from the same white granite, a shorter one in the shape of the Moon and the other in the shape of a tooth. He has hard features, but always acts cordially, especially with those who wish to exchange knowledge with him. When traveling, he transforms into a peregrine falcon, which allows him to travel long distances at high speed.

Character Information

Raveg is a natural linguist, speaking more than 14 languages and has a special interest in the history of his clan. He searches endlessly for artifacts, texts, and stories that contain about the past of vampires and gangrel.

His steps are lighter than normal, for someone of his size. Today, he ventures into northeastern Brazil in search of ancient knowledge, but has already traveled to several other places in the world in search of references about Enoia and its first descendants.

Known History

Evan Ráguine du’Saint was born in 1603, in the village of Aix-en-Provence, located on the south coast of France. There he was able to study under the tutelage of the scholar Nicolas-Claude Fabri de Pairesc (1580-1637). Through his teachings, Evan was able to participate in a 6-month expedition along the Mediterranean along with Fabri, where his love for traveling emerged.

But it was then that in March 1618, the 30 Years' War began. He was recruited and sent to Wissenburg. He saw the monster that exists in men's hearts rise to the surface. He understood that we all have a beast that breathes in our lungs. He was mortally wounded, but just as he thought everything was over, he was saved by a mysterious woman. He spent days in his care. During this time, he discovered that she was a lupine. She was at the warfield trying to save as many men as she could. With the days of care they fell for each other.

Two years passed as they were still hiding from the war in the Hungarian woods. But at a certain point, it became too dangerous. They decided to leave back to France, to Evan’s hometown. But upon arriving at the village, everything was destroyed. Whoever had attacked, they took everything and killed everyone they could find. Those who had survived were living amidst rats and hunger.

Evan decided he would never set foot in that cursed place again. He decided to leave with his loved one to the west. After months of traveling towards the lands of the Spanish Empire, they found a good place to settle, in the north of Catalonia. There, there was a large temperate forest with abundant supplies. In the woods, they got married. They had a daughter and lived peacefully for a time.

But one day, Evan`s wife didn't return. Her wolf brothers came bringing the news about how she fell in battle, that in her honor they would protect Evan and their daughter. But to do so, Evan would have to hand over his daughter to be raised by her mother's people. Evan couldn't go with them, as that was a place restricted only to Garou and possible cubs.

Evan protested and tried to fight, but the wolves restrained him. They did without harming Evan, as they understood the pain of a father who had just lost his wife and now was losing his daughter. When Evan calmed down, they offered him a treaty of friendship: He could still continue to live in the forest, in his cabin and in a few days one of the wolves would come to visit him to show him the way to the place where he could see his daughter.

Without a real choice, he accepted. But he didn't wait for his visit to arrive. For days he walked through the forest lost, depressed. But while hallucinating he was found by another creature. While wandering aimlessly through the woods, Evan found a cave. From it, he could hear whispers calling. There, an ancient being, a vampire, slept. During his sleep, he watched the lupines closely. And he became curious about Evan and his family. And now, with all the events that unfolded, he saw an opportunity.

The old one convinced Evan to be turned into what he was, a vampire. He could avenge his wife with the powers the creature was offering him. In exchange, he would serve as his eyes over the lupines. Furious with all that situation, Evan accepted the offer of eternal life. To do so, he abandoned his name and became a new creature, called Raveg (an anagram of the name Evan Raguine).

With his newly discovered powers, he hunted down the creatures that had killed his wife. He brought the heads of those monsters to the Garou hunting grounds. The lupines perceived what Raveg had turned into, but as his Sire had imagined, the wolves could not harm him nor expel him from those lands, though they were bound by the oath they made to Evan. Nonetheless, Raveg would never see his daughter again. The Garou sent her away, afraid Raveg would corrupt her with his presence. Raveg was now under the leach of his master. A bargain he had to fulfill too. For centuries, Raveg served his master, learning about the Garou and their history to make a parallel with the Gangrel owned history. He has traveled the world obeying the orders of his Sire. Now, he came to Brazil, hoping he can find any more pieces about Enoya and Gaia.

Raveg has made some enemies along the centuries. Some of them could sort things out with him, others were not reasonable enough to do so, and preferred to perish under his claws. But, there is a group of fanatics from the Cult of Lillith who are not fond of Raveg and may try to destroy him for reasons yet to be shown.
